Filmmaker and Oscar winner (English Patient, 1996) Anthony Minghella died.
He was 54 years old. His Agent Judy Daish confirmed his death, on Sunday. The director was know by his famous movies like The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain, and Truly Madly Deeply and the most recently, Breaking and Entering with Jude Law. It was an adaptation of Alexander McCall Smith’s The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. No further details are known till now, about the circumstances of Minghella’s death.
