Remake of the 1974 film "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" directed by Joseph Sargent. The latest incarnation takes place in contemporary New York and is set in motion when four hijackers take over a subway train and hold the passengers for ransom. They threaten to shoot one hostage each minute until a ransom is fully paid.
