About:
El Muerto, which means The Dead, centers on Diego de la Muerte, a young man from Whittier, Calif., who is on his way to a Day of the Dead mixer when he is abducted and killed in a ritual sacrifice, only to be resurrected as El Muerto, the Aztec Zombie, by Mictlantecuhtli, the Aztec God of Death. In this incarnation, Diego is charged to fight injustice for the living and dead alike.
