About:
April s Shower is a romantic comedy of expectation and role-reversal. On the morning of the wedding shower, we meet Alex, a chef, put out by her effort to host the perfect shower and struggling with her complex relationship with the bride to be. One by one, the eclectic guests trickle into Alex s house, bringing their own hilarious insecurities and peculiar life situations. As April, the bride-to-be, arrives, it becomes clear the secret Alex is hiding will affect not just the course of her life, but that of everyone at the shower.
