Repo Men: a fun romp for the weekend!
In the not so distant future, it will be possible to replicate organs. The technology doesn't come cheap though, so most people pay in crippling installments for their new hearts or lungs. At some point, most of them fall behind on their payments, and their new organs are repossessed by repo men.
Remy (Jude Law) and Jake (Forest Whitaker) are professional Repo Men, and they enjoy their work, until Remy has an accident and needs a new heart....
I'll come right out and say it: I don't like Jude Law. Bit of a git and not half as attractive as, say, Colin Firth.... (don't get me started)
Anyway, he isn't half bad in this movie and Forest Whitaker is always good to watch. The plot is a bit all over the place (and ridiculous), and both female leads, Carice van Houten, who plays the nagging wife, and Alice Braga, who plays the messed up love interest, were rubbish, but all in all: a fun romp for the weekend!
