The Lincoln Lawyer: Matthew Mcconaughey finally keeps his shirt on!

Micky (Matthew Mcconaughey) is a bit of a dodgy lawyer. He does business with shady people, from the back of his crummy Lincoln towncar, and usually he defends people so guilty even their moms don't believe they didn't do it. When he finds out he's screwed up, and actually ignored a guy who said he was innocent, he tries to set the record straight.
Matthew Mcconaughey used to be a hunk. Well, not in this movie, he isn't! Hailed as the first movie, ever, where Mcconaughey doesn't take his shirt off, that may be bad news for his female and gay fan base, but he's come out as a much more credible actor and it makes for a much better movie.
Marisa Tomei, who I love, and I wish they'd give her more parts!, plays his estranged wife. She also used to be cute and, wow, she's blossomed into beautiful. I liked that when she wakes up with a hangover, her make-up is actually all over the place, even if she does still look pretty hot.
As soon as you see William H. Macy you know he won't live to see the end of the movie, but he's great anyway.
Very very good story, well acted, and even though it's about some nasty stuff they don't show too much blood or gore. In short: you can't go wrong with this flick on a Saturday night.
