The Oscars were pretty much how everybody expected them to be: Colin Firth won Best Actor, Natalie Portman won Best Actress, Tom Hooper won Best Director for The King's Speech and Speech won Best Film as well. Of course, it was what we all expected, even hoped for, as we all loved Speech here. But I had hoped Winter's Bone would've gotten a nod. At least awesome female lead Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing in that slinky Baywatch red dress!

My favorite? Sandra Bullock was wearing an understated, bright red dress that fitted her to a T. (pic from Sawfnews.com)

And, oddly enough, Celine Dion looked absolutely stunning in sleek Versace (after having given birth to twins no less!)
